Aichele Kitchen

The Aichele family's kitchen renovation began as a self-starter project. Eventually, they reached out for assistance installing more storage, an island, and completing other projects around the house.

Final Results

We started the kitchen renovation by installing the Hickory cabinets.

Then we added a large overhang supported by flat steel, helping the space feel much more open. The countertops were honed granite with a 4" backsplash along the wall, and a full-height backsplash behind the stove. The flow of the kitchen improved by designing the bar sink close to the fridge and stove. The 42" walkway around the Island gives this kitchen good room for family gathering and entertaining.

Finally, we installed stair railing, interior/exterior doors, and trim.
