Ewald Kitchen
The Ewald family wanted to make their summer cabin more functional. They wanted the front door to open into the laundry / hot water tank room, as well as an expanded kitchen and storage.
Final Results
We removed the wall separating the laundry room and kitchen to add more space. We added a hidden support wall for the beam built into the cabinets. Due to space constraints, we installed a stacked washer and dryer unit. Additional cabinets were designed around those units. Finally, we installed a tankless water heater in the closet.
The remodel doubled the size of their kitchen. Quartz countertops and beige tile backsplash make the space feel modern and fresh. The Ewalds now have a larger, cozier space to host their guests by the lake!
